Mostly within the Tualatin Valley, the Washington County landscape stretches between the West Hills of Portland and the gentle slopes of the Coastal Mountain Range. While large swaths of the county still cater to farming, orchards and vineyards, it is also the 2nd most populous county. Additionally, it is considered home to some of the largest companies in the state. A bevy of tech companies, including IBM and Intel, compile in a region of the county coined ‘Silicon Forest’, which sits just a stone’s throw from Nike’s World Headquarters.
